GORELORD Mainman: 'The New Album Will Become A Goddamn Rifforama!'
May 14, 2008GORELORD, the one-man "deathgroove" project of Frediablo, formerly of NECOPHAGIA, GRIMFIST and HEMNUR, has issued the following update:
"First up... the new album will become a goddamn rifforama!! Grooves, speed and fucking melodies grinded together into a massive fucking beast! Can't wait to finish this son of a bitch... No.. I'm not talking about that alcoholic What's his name... Jesus Haha!! Bad bad bad!! The album should have been done by now, but due to a little accident, I had to put everything on hold for a couple of months, but it will be complete by the end of june/beginning of July.
"My good friend and former band compadre Mirai Kawashima (SIGH) will also contribute his musical skills, and has created a little instrumental intermission. Glad to have him on this album. The artwork is also almost done as well, and I can't wait to get this whole package complete.
"A track called 'Butcher Bob Part II' will be on the album, which will have strong musical links to the original. I like the idea of bringing back shit from the past, to link everything somewhat together.
"One thing I can say for sure, and that is that this album will be melodic and groovy as fucking fuck!!! I predict the 'selling-out' and fucking narrow-minded comments will haunt me like a broken record, but this shit is 100% pure fucking Frediablo, and no one can touch this but me! Don't get me wrong, I won't have melodic vocals, but guitar harmonies and stuff like that, but it's still pretty fucking melodic.... you have been warned haha!! I guess the sad 'true' elite will choke on their sweaty leather pants when they hear this, so it's all good!"
GORELORD recently inked a deal with Sworn Records.
The band's new album, "Chapter IV - Hellbound", is tentatively scheduled for release late summer. A song from the CD can be found on the Sworn RecordsMySpace page.
GORELORD has so far released three albums and two split EPs. The project's third full-length CD, "Norwegian Chainsaw Massacre", was issued in 2006 via Coffin Records and Red Stream Inc.
